Harriet Dart Claims the Biggest Singles Title of Her Career
Huge congratulations to Harriet Dart, who has captured the biggest singles title of her career at the W75 Toronto event. The former grantee produced a week of outstanding tennis to lift the trophy — her first title at this level and a major milestone in her journey.
Seeded third, Harriet dropped just one set throughout the week in a gritty win over Viktoria Hruncakova in the quarter-finals, she powered past Canada’s Katherine Sebov 6-4, 6-0 in the semi-finals, before defeating Fiona Crawley 6-2, 6-2 in a commanding final performance.
The result marks a significant step in Harriet’s career and we hope it gives her a boost in confidence. The win will move her world ranking by more than 40 places, as she edges back closer to the top 150.
We’re incredibly proud to have supported Harriet on her journey from a promising junior to one of Britain’s top professionals. Her success in Toronto is testament to her hard work, resilience and self-belief.
Congratulations Harriet, an inspiring achievement and a deserved reward for all your efforts.
