GB 12U BOYS’ WIN SUMMER CUP
Team GB’s 12U Boys’ team claimed the Summer Cup title for the first time in history, defeating France in front of a home crowd on Sunday.
The squad, comprising Tennis First grantees Tomas Gabor and Cameron Rae, alongside teammate Max Hodkinson, produced an impressive group stage performance with convincing wins over Belgium, Turkey and Czechia.
In the final, held on the clay courts of Saint-Valery-en-Caux, the young British side delivered their finest tennis, securing a decisive 3-0 victory over France. Competing in hot conditions, the players displayed exceptional resilience and composure against some of Europe’s strongest talents.
This triumph means the Great Britain 12U Boys’ team now holds both the Tennis Europe Summer and Winter Cup titles, a remarkable achievement and testament to the players’ skill, determination and team spirit.
Congrats to the whole team!
