Tennis First Grantees Shine at Junior National Championships

Tennis First grantees enjoyed an outstanding week at the 2026 Lexus Junior National Championships in Nottingham, with players featuring prominently across the 11U, 12U and 14U events.

The 11U girls’ singles produced an all Tennis First top four, with Harriet Graham defeating fellow grantee Natalia Balanel in the final to become National Champion. Nolwaine Ngassam finished third and Jaela Jarvis fourth. Natalia and Harriet also reached the girls’ doubles final together, finishing runners-up to another Tennis First grantee, Nolwaine, and her partner Lara Dobbie.

There was more success in the 11U boys, where Henry Momot was crowned National Champion, with fellow grantees Hunter Henderson finishing runner-up and Maxime Gaugry taking third place. Henry completed an impressive week by also winning the boys’ doubles title alongside Harry O’Driscoll.

Tennis First players again occupied both sides of the final in the 12U boys’ singles, where Fletcher Davies defeated fellow grantee Conrad Goh to take the title. Fletcher also won the doubles alongside Sebastian Brock, while Conrad reached the doubles semi-finals.

It was the same story in the 12U girls’ singles, with two grantees contesting the final. Sahara Baptiste was crowned National Champion, with Victoria Ariana Florea finishing runner-up. In the doubles, Amelia Coulstock and Diana Florence took the title, defeating Sahara and Victoria in the final.

The 14U boys’ singles was another remarkable all Tennis First affair, with grantees filling each of the top four positions. Oskar Laskowski claimed the National title ahead of Cameron Rae, with Caleb Griffith third and Joseph Knightley fourth. Oskar and Joseph then joined forces to win the 14U boys’ doubles title.

In the 14U girls, Ginny Chen reached the singles final to finish runner-up, while fellow grantee Sophia Cuninghametook third place. Sophia also reached the doubles final alongside Kate Murray, while Isabella Rebel won the doubles title with Naina Kapoor.

Across the three age groups, Tennis First grantees claimed six singles titles and four doubles titles, alongside a host of runner-up and semi-final finishes — a fantastic week for the young players we are proud to support.
