Grantees Crowned 12U National Champions

The LTA Junior National Championships took place this week at the Nottingham Tennis Centre featuring many of our younger grantees.

In the boys event, Niall Pickerd-Barua claimed the 12U LTA Junior National Tennis Championship singles title coming through a tough three set final against fellow grantee Aran Selvaraasan, 3-6 6-2 6-4 and what a match it was from both players.

Megan Knight won the girls title winning through the final against grantee Sevil Parvis 6-2 6-1. Annabel Wong reached the semi-finals losing out to Megan in a close battle 6-7(5 ) 6-3 6-1. On the doubles court, Sevil was crowned National Champion alongside Daniella Britton.
