Trustees

Our board of trustees consists of the following professionals, to whom we are deeply grateful for their on-going dedication and support:

Gordon Edington (CBE)

is a founder trustee of Tennis First and chairs the Board of Trustees.
For six years he was Chair of the leading children's charity Action For Children. In a property based career, Gordon was a director of BAA, is a non executive director of Lend Lease Corporation, the company developing the London Olympic Village, and is a Past President of The British Property Federation. He plays his tennis at The Riverside Club, Chiswick.
Sally Boycott

has worked in advertising, sales promotion and marketing in her early career and has spent 10 years cooking at Downing Street.  She has also been an Estate Agent  in Chiswick. She has been involved in fundraising for Tennis First, Wellbeing and The Royal Star and Garter Home where she raised over £150,000.  She plays tennis at The Queens Club and at the Riverside Club.
Matthew Cattaway

has a background in tennis coaching and was instrumental in starting the performance tennis programme at the Riverside Club, which was awarded the LTA's High Performance Club status in 2004. Matthew founded The Tennis First Charitable Trust with the help of Peter Beckwith, OBE, in 1999, and became a Trustee in 2003. He is currently the Racquets Manager at David Lloyd Heston.
Anthony Deal

is a founder Trustee of Tennis First.
He has worked in the property industry for over 35 years, more recently as a private investor. He has various non executive roles and has been particularly passionate about progressing youth tennis.
Jan Felgate

is head of the IMG Tennis Division in the UK, having been with the company since 1992.  Jan is also the CEO of the ATP Champions Tour which is comprised of 12 events in Europe, Asia, North and South America. In 2001 she co-founded Tim Henman's Kids at Heart Charity which has raised over £1,000,000 and is a director of the Tim Henman Charitable Foundation.
Caroline Lacy

has been a senior executive at IMG's Tennis Division since 1995, representing a number of IMG's leading tennis clients. Caroline chairs the Tennis First Grants Board.  A former international tennis player, she plays her tennis at the All England Club, Wimbledon.
Ken Weatherley

is a trustee, a former international tennis player and a committee member of The All England Club, chairing the Courts and Ground sub-committees. A founding director of Invicta Leisure, later merged into Esporta, where he was Development Director, Ken's work and play has always been closely associated with tennis.
