All applications for grant aid must be received by May 31st for the Grant Year which begins October 1st each year and ends September 30th the following year.

The Grants Board considers all applications beginning their work in June.
The applications are scrutinised, and there follows a period when questions raised by the Grants Board are researched, with a final conclusion being reached in September.
The successful grantees are notified early in October each year.
