The Grants Board’s task is to sift the many applications for grant aid that the Trust receives each year and to select the players that it believes have all the attributes that will take the player to a Tour world ranking of 250 or better.
In making its annual selections and the amount which will be allocated to each player selected, the Board will endeavour to take into account how much help a player is already receiving from other sources.
The Board begins its work each year at the beginning of June (applications for grant aid should be received by the end of May each year) and reaches a conclusion in September. The grant year begins in October and concludes in September.
