| Jasmine Asghar born 08 09 1997 Jasmine lives in New Malden, Surrey and trains mainly at David Lloyd in Raynes Park. In 2009 Jasmine won the international U12 events at Bournemouth and Solihull, and several U12 Indoor Series events. She was the third ranked player in the Under 12 division. In 2010 Jasmine won the Grade 2 Winter National tournament in Sunderland, cruising through the last 2 rounds in straight sets. She also won the Solihull Tennis Europe U14 Doubles with Jazzi Plews. At 13 she is already ranked 6th in the U14 division and is also competing at U16 level. |

| Luke Bambridge born 21 01 1995 Luke has continued his successful transition to the Under 18 ITF circuit after a very successful 2009 season. Although still affiliated to the Mouratoglou Academy in Paris, Luke is spending most of his training time at the National Tennis Centre at Roehampton where he is now based. Luke continues to spend approximately half the year playing tournaments abroad. His highlights for 2010 include playing in the British under 16 team which finished runners up in the Borotra Cup (European under 16 Championship), the first British team in history to do so, and qualifying for the Junior Davis Cup in Mexico where the team finished fourth. Patriotic Luke said: "I love representing my country and to do so well was a thrill for all the team." Luke's individual highlight was unquestionably his debut on the Wimbledon stage. | Katie Boulter born 01 08 1996 Katie started playing tennis at the age of 5, represented GB at 8, won her first National title at 9 in the Fred Perry tournament and at 11 became the National U12 Indoor champion. Currently Katie trains at the NTC under the watchful eye of Claire Curran and Nigel Sears. She has been one of the top ranked juniors for her age group and played at Number 1 in the Summer Cup team in 2010. Katie loves to compete, enjoys all form of competition including team events. She represented her County Leicestershire at group 1 at Eastbourne and made the history by being the youngest ever competitor. Presently she is ranked ITF 558 (October 2010) after just 5 events. In 2008 she was an Orange bowl quarter finalist and in 2009 a Quarter finalist at the Eddie Herr. Her long term ambition is to be a world class top ten player but in the meantime her aim is to improve her ITF ranking and to play at Junior Wimbledon. |

| Liam Broady born 04 01 1994 Liam is from Stockport, Cheshire and trains independently with his father and coach Simon at the Manchester Northern Club and sometimes at the Mouratoglou Academy in Paris. His sister Naomi is a former Tennis First grantee and is one of the Trust's successes, playing on the WTA tour and currently ranked (November 2010) 232 in the world. Liam was a semi finalist at the 2008 Orange Bowl and won the European Masters at 14 & Under level. In 2009 he won his first ATP ranking point on the grass at the Felixstowe Futures tournament and now has 4 points, making him one of the highest ATP ranked 1994 born players. 2010's highlight was clearly when Liam and partner Tom Farquharson won the Wimbledon Junior Doubles title, the first Brits to do so for many years! |

| Lucy Brown born 11 01 1993 Lucy's training is based in Marbella Spain with coach Farid Bentaous, with access to the NTC when in GB. Over the past year Lucy has travelled around the world following a tournament programme scheduled around the Junior ITF circuit and reached a world ranking of 84. Lucy represented Great Britain U18 in The Maureen Conolly Cup at Eastbourne against the USA , the European Championships in Switzerland and Summer Cup in Italy. As well as playing Junior Wimbledon Lucy also progressed through ladies senior pre-qualifying, gaining access to the ladies qualifying at the Grand Slam. Lucy achieved her goal of 2010 to gain a WTA ranking, reaching 964, and will now follow a women's tournament programme through 2011 to improve this ranking. |

| Freya Christie born 08 11 1997 Freya is from Nottingham and is currently (November 2010) ranked No.2 in the British U14 rankings with another 2 years left in this age category. Freya currently trains at the Sutton Tennis Academy in Surrey and at the Nottingham Tennis Centre when at home. Freya was the top ranked U12 player at the end of 2009 and in 2010 she was runner-up in the U14 Nationals. The following week won the U14 'Road to Wimbledon' title at The All England Club. In 2011, Freya will be competing abroad in Grade 1 Tennis Europe events as well as seeking entry into the junior ITF events. At home she will be competing in the Ladies British Tour events and Junior ITF events to give her more experience at competing with older girls. Her 2011 goal is to be ranked in the top 10 in Tennis Europe's U14 rankings and gain her first ITF ranking points. |

| Jay Clarke born 27 07 1998 Jay lives in Derbyshire and trains locally with his siblings Yasmin and Curtis. He is coached by his dad Earol and receives guidance from Dukes Meadows in Chiswick. Jay has won numerous titles, winning the U11 Grand Prix event at Roehampton in 2009 and finished the year on a high winning the U11 Masters event held at the National Training Centre. On his International debut in Bressuire in 2009 he was a semi-finalist and has enjoyed similar success in Billancourt early in 2010. Jay was a semi-finalist in the 2010 AEGON Summer Nationals held at the Bournemouth and hopes to make steady progress in Tennis Europe events in 2011. |

| Harriet Dart born 28 07 1996 Harriet lives in West Hampstead, London but trains and weekly boards with WIN Tennis based in Marlow, Berkshire. As well as training full time she has continued with her education gaining two GSCEs in English and Maths two years early. She is planning to take GSCEs in Biology, PE and IT in 2011. In April 2010 Harriet gained her first Under 18 Junior ITF ranking points at Nottingham, winning through two rounds of the main draw with her second match making history lasting 4 hours and 20 minutes! In July she made the semi finals of both Edinburgh and Cork, and a quarter final appearance in Belgium in August – all ITF events. Harriet will use the Tennis First Grant to travel abroad to compete in more ITF events where she is looking forward to having to "tough it out" against older and more experienced opponents. Her goal for 2011 is to achieve a top 200 ITF U18 ranking . |

| Emma Devine born 16 12 1994 Emma is ranked GB No 1 in her age group. She is now concentrating on ITF junior tournaments (under 18) and ladies professional senior competitions at the £10k and £25K level. Emma is currently ranked No 335 in the world in the ITF junior rankings having only started competing at this level in February 2010 where she was noted as one of the top five fastest movers in the rankings . She has also recently gained her first WTA world ranking point at the Sunderland £10k. 2010 was a very successful year for her where she was crowned champion at the British Aegon Grand Prix Masters and won her first ITF Junior singles title as well as two ITF junior doubles titles. Emma now trains out of the Scottish Performance Tennis Centre at Stirling while attending school at Beaconhurst where she will be taking her Standard Grade exams in 2011. Her aims for the next year are to reach the top 100 rankings in the ITF junior circuit and establish a ladies senior professional ranking where she can push on and establish herself as a professional tennis player. |

| Katy Dunne born 16 02 1995 Katy started her tennis at Batchwood in St Albans but now trains at Everyball International Academy at Halton Tennis Centre in Buckinghamshire with Mike James. Katy is studying for her GCSEs at Chesham Grammar, who have allowed her to train while continuing her education. In 2010 Katy was delighted to win the Under 16 Nationals, having reached the finals of U14 the previous year. She represented Great Britain in the U16 Summer Cup and was also selected for the Maureen Connolly at Eastbourne. This was followed by a debut appearance in the Wimbledon Juniors. In international events, Katy won 2 ITFs at Nottingham, was runner-up in singles and doubles in Turkey, and was pleased to win a round at a Grade 2 at Roehampton. All of which helped her to an ITF ranking of 199 – pretty neat for a 15 year old! Katy's tennis first grant will help towards her travel expenses to international and national events. |

| Kyle Edmund born 08 01 1995 Kyle is the highest ranked 15 year old player in the world in the ITF (U18) computer rankings (November 2010). Considering that Kyle only started his ITF tournament campaign in March 2010, this is a remarkable achievement. He began by winning the Nottingham Grade 4, won a round in the Grade 1 at Roehampton, and made his Grand Slam debut at Wimbledon. In July he reached the semi finals in Edinburgh (Grade 5) and reached the last 8 of the U16 European Championships. Another quarter final place was achieved in Portugal (Grade 4) and in the Czech Republic (grade 2) he reached the finals. Kyle's ambition for 2011 is to be ranked in the top 150 ITF and to gain entry to all of the Grand Slam Junior events. | Pippa Horn born 30 09 1995 Pippa comes from Norfolk and until recently was at full-time school in Norfolk training 3 evenings a week at Hills Road High Performance Centre in Cambridge. Since September 2010, she has started to train at the National Tennis Centre in Roehampton for 4 days a week and continue her academic studies at MPW in Cambridge. Pippa started playing ITF U18 tournaments in May 2010, and by July she had achieved a ranking of 352, having won back to back singles titles in Edinburgh and Dublin. Pippa is aiming to achieve a top 100 ranking by the end of 2011. In August, having entered the tournament as a Wild Card, Pippa was crowned U18 national champion after winning 5 straight matches, including the defeat of the top 3 seeds along the way – Lucy Brown, Jessica Ren and Jennifer Ren. At only 14 years of age, and eligible to play the event for a further 4 years, Pippa is one of the youngest ever winners. |

| Evan Hoyt born 16 01 1995 Evan has been training at Reed's School Tennis Academy in Surrey since 2007. He is from Llanelli in South Wales and speaks Welsh fluently, although he was born in Mexico! Evan began playing tennis at the age of four and still has the same love of the game as day one! Over the past year, Evan has achieved some notable landmarks; he was part of the GB Summer Cup team which finished runners up in the final in le Touquet, France. As a result , the GB team qualified for the Junior Davis Cup in Mexico where they finished fourth. This summer, Evan won the British under 16 doubles title with his team-mate Jon Cornish. He also reached two Grade 2 Tennis Europe U16 finals in Slovenia and won a doubles title there too. Evan has now begun his assault on the junior ITF circuit and has achieved a ranking high of 575 after reaching the semis in the Newcastle G4 tournament and winning singles and doubles in a G4 in Malaysia. Evan hopes to continue to improve his ranking and be able to compete in all 4 junior grand slams. |

| Sam Hutt born 15 04 1994 Sam was the singles and doubles British National champion in 2008 and in 2010 was a finalist in the Grade 2 Clay Courts. He now aims to make his mark at International level and has already won two doubles titles with Kyle Edmund in Turkey and Newcastle. He has consistently reached quarter finals in singlesevents from the age of 15 and with two more years left on the circuit his aim is to improve his ITF U18 ranking to top 100 and gain his first ATP point.Sam is full time at the WIN Academy at Bisham Abbey where he has also gained success off the court, taking and passing his GCSEs and AS levels one and two years ahead of schedule. |

| Lauryn John-Baptiste born 26 07 1999 Lauryn lives in Hackney, East London and trains with Hackney City Clubs. In December 2009 she was runner-up in the U12 tournament in Casley, Florida, and qualified for the U12 Orange Bowl. In 2010 she has won a number of Grade 3 events close to home, and in 2011 will be competing at U14 level and looking for her best form in the bigger U12 events in her last year. |

| Rachel Kings born 18 01 1996 Rachel lives near Kettering in Northamptonshire and trains locally and at Gosling twice a week. 2010 was a hugely successful year for Rachel as she rose 60 places in the British rankings to end at No.3. She achieved this principally by winning the Grade 2 Scottish Open and reaching the final of the Nottingham Junior Open. From here she wants to travel abroad in 2011 to achieve Tennis Europe and ITF rankings. Rachel still attends a local comprehensive school where she is studying for her GCSEs. She also plays for a local netball team and enjoys swimming. Her Tennis First grant will be used mainly for travel costs to training and abroad. |

They have settled in Glasgow and Wika trains at the David Lloyd Club under the watchful eye of coach Toby Smith. The winner of The West of Scotland Junior Championships in June 2010, and in 2011 aims to compete in as many Tennis Europe events as possible. |

| Maia Lumsden born 10 01 1998 Maia Lumsden comes from Scotland and started playing tennis when she was 4. Early successes in the Mini Reds gave her an early appetite for winning and she has progressed to become a top ranked player in the GB U12 rankings. In February 2010 she won the Under 12 Masters at Roehampton. She then travelled to the International Super Auray event in France and with over 1000 people watching in the final she achieved a straight sets win to follow in Andy Murray's footsteps as the Under 12 winner. The Ageon Player of the Month Award for March was a fitting recognition of her early season form. In May Maia won the Under 12 singles and doubles evens at the National Clay Courts and in July she won her first Under 14 Tennis Europe event in Edinburgh. She represented Great Britain in the Summer Cup in both 2009 and 2010. Her training is centred at the David Lloyd Academy in Glasgow with coach Toby Smith and also at Stirling. She is currently working hard to improve herTennis Europe ranking. |

| James Marsalek born 05 04 1992 James lives in Staines having re-located from Taunton to further his tennis career. He now trains at the National Training Centre in Roehampton and at the Mouratoglou Tennis Academy in Paris. James' favourite surface is grass. Maybe it was because his first important title came on the grass courts of Wimbledon where he won both singles and doubles in the Road to Wimbledon 2006. Two years later James won the U16 National Championship and then in 2009 repeated the trick in the U18 division, adding the doubles title for good measure. In 2010 he caught fire in mid summer by qualifying at the ITF Grade 1 at Roehampton and then romping through the field for a spectacular win. His form continued into the Junior Championships at Wimbledon where he beat the reigning French Open champion and second seed in the first round, but his great run came to an end in the last 16. James is now busy playing senior events as he starts to make the difficult transition from junior to senior tennis. |

| George Morgan born 07 02 1993 George has consistently been a top player in his age category and at the end of 2010 was ranked 14 in the ITF Junior World rankings (with a further year of competition left). He has been working very hard on his mental training in the past year. With Lewis Burton he was runner-up in the doubles to Liam Broady and Tom Farquharson at the 2010 Wimbledon Junior Championships, and has made steady progress in singles. George has set as targets to reach the top 500 in the ATP rankings - he is currently 912 (October 2010) – in the next 18 months, and by the time he is 22 to be in the top 50 in the world. |

| Christopher Pearce born 20 09 1995 In 2011 Chris is aiming to make an impression on the ITF Junior Circuit, targeting a top 200 position. Having achieved a top 20 Tennis Europe ranking on leaving the U14 division, this is a realistic target for Chris, who trains at the WIN tennis academy at Bisham. Whilst in the U14s he represented Great Britain and helped win the European Winter Cup playing both singles and doubles. He was a semi finalist at Nationals and won the doubles title and 3rd in the British rankings behind Luke Bambridge and KyleEdmund. This past year he reached the finals in 2 Tennis Europe events – Waiblingen, Germany and London – and 4 quarter finals. His doubles record has been excellent, winning three titles. |

| Jazzi Plews born 28 02 1998 Jazzi is the daughter of national coach Richard Plews and lives in Barcelona, Spain where she trains full-time at the Sanchez-Casal Tennis Academy. Her progress on clay was marked with final berths in the Tennis Europe events in Rome and Edinburgh and a win in the prestigious event at Passagesoirs in France (past winners include Gasquet and Murray). Jazzi remained undefeated in the Nations Cup for Great Britain, and finished the competitive year with another excellent run on the clay, winning the U14 grade 2 event at Queenswood; making semis at the U16 grade 2 event in Bournemouth and finally by making semis at U14 National Championships losing to eventual winner Alannah Griffin. In her last event of the summer, the U12 National Championships Jazzi fell just short of becoming champion, losing a close 3 set encounter in the final to Gabriella Taylor. Jazzi intends to use her Tennis First sponsorship to extend her schedule on the Tennis Europe circuit. |

| Eden Richardson born 03 09 1998 Eden started playing tennis at the age of 3 at David Lloyd Leisure, where her mum still works. She now trains at Wrexham Tennis Academy, North Wales and also enjoys athletics and cross country running. Eden finished 2010 ranked No.1 in GB in the U12 division. She also represented Great Britain four times in 2010 and played in the Four Nations tournament at Cardiff contributing to a win for England. Although Eden has another year left in the U12s she will now be concentrating on U14 and Tennis Europe events, and she has already made a good start, finishing 3rd in the U14 Winter Regional event at Batley and winning the U14 Winter Regional event at Nottingham. |

| Lana Rush born 09 02 1997 Lana lives in Wimbledon, trains at Sutton Tennis Academy and attends Cheam High School, where she has been moved up a school year after passing her GCSE Spanish with a grade A last year. She has now embarked on Spanish at A Level. Lana won both the U10 and U12 national titles and is already ranked No.5 in the U14 British list. She reached the quarter finals of the U16 Nationals and is already competing in senior events. In the past year she has travelled to Russia, Spain, Belgium, Slovenia and Finland to earn a Tennis Europe U14 ranking of 103 with another year left to compete. In December 2010 Lana will travel to Miami to train at Evert's Academy and play in the Orange Bowl. Her aims for 2011 include starting her campaign to enter the ITF rankings, improving her strength and fitness, and developing her match playing strategies. |

| Josh Sapwell born 03 03 1996 Joshua lives in Flitwick, Bedfordshire and currently trains with his own team at Letchworth Tennis Club, Hertfordshire. Josh is the current U14 national champion, having also won the U12 title in 2008. In 2010 Josh has focused on Tennis Europe events, and on team events for Great Britain – he played No 1 in both Winter & Summer Cups and the World Team Cup. Individual successes included title wins in Norway & Slovenia, a final in Italy and a semi final in the European Championships. Josh ended the Tennis Europe year in style by becoming the Tennis Europe Masters Champion - previous winners include Nadal and Robredo With such a string of results it is hardly surprising that Josh has finished the year ranked No 3 in the Tennis Europe U14 rankings. Josh's aims for 2011 are to continue to develop his game and compete in U18 ITF events abroad and men's British Tour events in Great Britain. |

| Alex Sendegeya born 27 06 1996 Alexander started playing tennis in Liverpool at the age of 3 ½, and won his first county championship at 6. By the age of 11 he had achieved a top 10 national ranking in the U12s. At that point his talent was spotted by Nick Bollettieri and he was offered a scholarship. Alexander has been training at the IMG Academy in Florida ever since. Although he plays little tennis in the UK, he has been representing Great Britain in events abroad and in 2010 was part of the GB Summer Cup team, finishing third. He was a semi finalist in the U14 Nationals at Bournemouth – the only player to run Josh Sapwell close. But appearances in U14 events are rare for Alex as he concentrates instead on ITF U18 tournaments. Alexander excels also in his academic work, attaining As in all his subjects. Away from tennis Alex is a sports fanatic, following and playing a wide range of sports including football, basketball and cricket. He relaxes listening to and playing music and watching movies. He supports Liverpool FC. |

| Eden Silva born 14 03 1996 Since the age of 10 Eden has trained in California with Robert Lansdorp who has developed many players including Maria Sharapova, Lindsey Davenport and Pete Sampras. She has recently passed five GCSEs and is currently studying for her A Level Physical Education and English Literature. Eden has represented her county Essex and Great Britain in national and international matches. She is part of Team Aegon and on the British Olympic Association passport scheme where she holds a silver passport. Her ambition is to represent GB in the Olympics and be a top 10 player in the world. In 2010 Eden has suffered from injury so that her competitive programme was curtailed. She has recently returned, competing in some senior events and is now preparing and training hard for an assault on the ITF circuit in 2011. |

| Francesca Stephenson born 23 08 1993 Fran comes from Surrey and trains at the National Tennis Centre in Roehampton. In 2010 she gained her first WTA ranking points, entering the senior list at 954 for singles and 487 for doubles. Meanwhile her U18 ITF ranking has also improved to 141. In 2009 Fran represented Great Britain in the U16 Summer Cup, won the U16 LTA Clay Court Championships and earned the Aegon Junior National Player of the Month Award. In April of 2010 Fran earned a place in the semi finals of her first ever main draw WTA 10k event in Bournemouth. She made her debut at Wimbledon in June, winning a round in the Junior Championship but bowing out in three sets to world number 3 Monica Puig. In July she won the WTA 25k doubles title (with partner Tara Moore) at Wrexham beating Emma Laine and Sania Mirza. Already a winner of two ITF junior singles titles and three ITF doubles titles, Fran aims to continue to improve her ITF junior and WTA rankings. |

| Lucas Taylor born 06 01 1997 Lucas lives in East London and trains at Hackney City Tennis Clubs. He attends The Bridge Academy School, where he can enjoy football and athletics when tennis allows. In 2009, Lucas won three Grade 1 events in domestic U12 competition, earning him the No.1 ranking in the division. At home in 2010 he reached the semi final of 'The Road to Wimbledon' (U14), but most of Lucas' 2010 competition has been in Tennis Europe events, in which he made good progress. He reached the finals in Iceland (Grade 3) and semi-finals in Cork (Grade 3), Vandans, Austria (Grade 3) and Barcelona (Grade 2). These results have taken him to 120 in the Tennis Europe U14 rankings - not bad for his first year in the U14 age category. |

| Ella Taylor born 22 06 1995 Ella, who lives in Milford on Sea, Hampshire, is currently (November 2010) ranked No 2 in the U16 rankings and trains at David Lloyd, Southampton and West Hants HPC. She has been a finalist at The Scottish Open for the past 2 years, winning the U14's in 2009 and just failing twice in the 2010 U16 and U18 finals, both times to Emma Devine, another Tennis First grantee. Later in the year Ella won the Bournemouth Open. She also represented Great Britain in the U15 Nations Cup held at the Sanchez-Casal Academy. For 2011 Ella will concentrate on ITF junior events abroad and Futures events back at home and the Tennis First grant will help with travel costs as she starts her assault on an ITF ranking. |

| Gabriella Taylor born 07 03 1998 Gabriella comes from Southampton and had an extremely successful y 2010 - she was the number one in the U12 division throughout the year. In April she won, for the second year in a row, one of the most prestigious Tennis Europe events on the calendar – in Bressuire (France) - winning both the singles and doubles titles. During this tournament she beat the number one players from Algeria, France and Spain. She then went on to win the Scottish Open and the Bournemouth Open titles before beating another grantee Jazzi Plews in the final of the U12 Nationals to become national champion. Gabriella will compete in the Orange Bowl and Eddie Herr tournaments in Florida and Tennis Europe U14 events in 2011. |

| Marcus Walters born 03 04 1998 Marcus is from Nottinghamshire and has represented Great Britain on numerous occasions, most recently when he won all of his matches in an U12 team against Turkey played at Eastbourne alongside the Davis Cup. He was also a member of the national U12 team that qualified for the Nations Cup with wins over Germany, Holland and Belgium. Marcus trains at the 'My Tennis' IHPC at Loughborough University where he studies on site and has access to two training sessions a day Monday to Friday. Currently (November 2010) he is the second highest ranked 1998 born player in the U14 rankings after reaching the quarter final stage of the first U14 National Tour event in Sunderland. This involved qualifying and defeating the number 8 seed in the main draw before losing to the eventual winner. In 2011 Marcus is looking to make significant ranking gains as he starts to compete more frequently in Tennis Europe events. |

| Dominic West born 14 03 1999 Dominic lives in Newark in Nottinghamshire and trains at Loughborough. A winner of the U10 Clay Courts in 2009, he represented Great Britain in an Under 12 international in May 2010 against Belgium a year young, and in July gained more international experience in matches against Croatia, Switzerland, the Netherlands and Bulgaria. |

| Ross Tiree Wilson born 18 04 1997 Ross Tiree Wilson (born April 1997) Ross Tiree spent most of his early days on the west coast of Scotland and first found his way onto a tennis court aged 4. A left hander with a one handed backhand he quickly became a county player for the South of Scotland and a national player for Scotland and Great Britain. At the age of 9 he was offered a full scholarship with the Mouratoglou Tennis Academy in Paris, and spent almost two years training there, before returning to Scotland. There he has worked closely with Judy Murray who has continued to be an integral part of Ross Tiree's development. In 2009 he won his first international title in Paris, the Tennis Europe U12 Boulougne Billancourt. In 2010 he was a finalist in the Clay Court U12 Grand Prix, losing to the top ranked Lucas Taylor, another Tennis First grantee. In Birkerod, Denmark, Ross Tiree reached the semi finals of both the singles and doubles in the Tennis Europe U14 event – a remarkable achievement for a player a year young. Further successful weeks in Holland and Edinburgh ensured a break-through into the top 150 Tennis Europe U14 rankings. |
