Expert Panel to answer all your questions about junior development
Our expert panel includes former pro and the LTA's lead coach Colin Beecher; former pro and Sky pundit Barry Cowan; and Simon Jones, Head of Performance Support at the LTA. The Q & A is intended to help parents of young players who are starting out on their competitive careers, particularly those who do not come from a tennis background. This panel of experts should be able to answer all your questions on coaching, competitions, funding, etc and help guide parents through the critical formative years of a young player.

Bibi and friends are back at Wimbledon March 10 2012
Last time we asked Robin Bibi to play for us, the dance floor at the exclusive Courtside Restaurant at the All England Club wasn't big enough to hold everyone who wanted to dance! (And did they want to dance?!) This time there'll be a bigger dance floor in this very special room in Centre Court!

Robin Bibi is an outstanding guitarist, having played with Ben E King, Robert Plant, Jimmy Page and BB King - just those names give a flavour of how the evening might move between rock, blues and pop. To complete the 'Experience' Robin and his band will be joined by some friends - vocalists John Warwick and Frank Aiello. Warwick's Blues Express was voted best blues band by Melody Maker and Aiello starred in 'Hair' and with Cozy Powell formed 'Bedlam'. Proper musicians providing proper live entertainment!

Hockley GC hosts 3rd Tennis First Golf Day
For the 3rd time in consecutive years Hockley Golf Club will play host to a Tennis First golf day. Conveniently situated just off the J11 of the M3, Hockley is perhaps the best of Winchester's courses. Join us for some not too serios golf and help us support soem of Britain (and Hampshire's) finest young prospects.

Wokingham course hosts Tennis First Golf Day
You are warmly invited to support the Sand Martins Tennis First Golf Day on April 19th 2012, the aim of which is to have some fun playing golf on a lovely course and to raise some money to assist some of the UK's finest young prospects.

Are you up for the Challenge?
23 riders set out in May 2011 on the inaugural Tennis First 'Roland Garros Challenge'. For everyone it was a fantastic experience - for some, life-changing. (Read about the highlights from 'Team Ceuta' below!)
The second challenge is now open for registration - it could change your life! The event is a four day bike ride from London to Paris with tickets to the grounds of the French Open on the opening day. (If you want show court tickets and register before November 30th 2011, we may be able to help you!) The ride is open to anyone of any age, background and cycling ability! Full details of the ride are contained in the Associated Documents below - the FAQs offer a quick resume - but if anything is unclear please contact Pippa Harrison at tennisfirstgen@hotmail.com
