Tennis First AuctionWelcome to the third Tennis First auction, where you will find a variety of interesting lots, kindly donated by friends of the charity. If you are able to donate further lots, or would like to support the charity in any other way, we would be delighted to hear from you. The proceeds of the auction will help players who are intent on raising the level of British tennis performance and need financial assistance to help them compete at the highest possible level. Details of the players we are currently helping and their exploits can be found in the news section of the website. The auction lots are listed below. To make a bid, simply email tennisfirstgen@hotmail.com with the lot number and the amount you want to bid by Friday 16th October 2009 (with the exception of Lot numbers 6 and 11, for which there is an earlier deadline). The top 5 bidders for each lot at that date will be notified and will have until Wednesday 21st October to make a final bid. The winners will be notified immediately thereafter. Lot 1 A fabulous day at the Finals of Wimbledon 2 tickets for Saturday 4th July 2010, the day scheduled for the Ladies Final at Wimbledon, one of the showpieces of the tennis calendar on the most famous court in the world. Also scheduled is the Men's Doubles Final for you to enjoy in an exhilarating day which includes lunch and tea. Reserve of £750 Lot 2 A luxury apartment in La Manga Fancy a week in La Manga? Design Holidays has kindly donated a week in a luxurious 2 bedroomed apartment, sleeping four, at one of the world's most famous sporting holiday destinations. The apartment is in Las Lomas, just above the tennis centre, an ideal base from which to access all La Manga has to offer. Situated by the green of the famous St Andrews Road Hole (17th), the VIP Pavilion will be available from 10 am until close of play.
